Over 25 years ago, Nicki lost 50 pounds (which she has kept off to this day). After she lost her weight, she realized that there were no formal programs available to address the needs of the overweight and unfit that really worked – permanently. As a result, Nicki opened her own personal training studio in 1991 to meet the needs of those seeking practical weight loss advice. In addition to her successful personal training studio, Nicki began lecturing to educate people about the dangers of fad diets and unrealistic expectations. Nicki’s enthusiasm and fitness knowledge grew along with her reputation as she became a sought after international speaker on subjects such as: Healthy Weight Loss, Developing and Maintaining a Healthy Life, and Why Diets Don’t Work.

Nicki’s latest book, Nicki Anderson’s Single Step Weight Loss Program, 101 Tips for Healthy Living, Weight Loss and a Diet Free Life (Healthy Learning, 2009) offers the most practical tips for not only weight loss but also maintenance, and a lifetime of healthy living. This book will revolutionize the way people view and experience weight loss.
